The WRC asked me to write part of my Ritual of Inclusion. So I did research on the spiritual meaning of my name. I had picked my first and middle name out of thin air. My first name Ellen is connected to the worshipers of the Goddess Helen (of Troy) who were driven out by a king who they had helped depose for his corruption. Worshipers of the Goddess Helen moved to England. The Goddess Helen became the Goddess Ellen. Worshipers of the Goddess Ellen brought with them the ability to use a glass lens to start fires using the power of the sun. Such fires were started on the Summer Solstice.
