Keep up the excellent work. This website is the best salsa site on earth. Les Rivera, thanks for representing our Puerto Rican music with such class and style. Your article on Hector Lavoe brought me right back to the great 1970's, and I could identify with with the happenings then, the way you described things so well. Sadly, though, New York salsa will never return to what it was. The City had about 300 pure salsa clubs then. Now we have just a very few, and they are not pure salsa clubs.
