Just a quick reminder - Gym practices are cancelled during March Break that will include pitching/catching on the 13th, we will be back at Holy Cross on the 20th. The "Fun"damental fastball will take place at Dominion Dome on Thursday March 17th, Managers make sure you let you players know it is on - the instructors at last Thursday mistakenly told them it was cancelled for March Break so you may want to send them an e-mail to clarify. Everything is on track, Board meeting on the 20th of March @ Windsor Family Credit - Julie is taking clothing orders - Some raffle tickets for 2 satelite systems and ebay auction in the works. Next bingo is April 22nd. Lots happening so stay tuned. Rachel Baltzer is going in for surgery in March - but doesn't matter if she needs a bit of a rest - we could use her knowledge and expertice on the bench - Scorekeeping Stats come to mind until the Doc says she can work the ACL again. Rach you are in our thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery - we know how tough you are - there is no way you will be out for long - Just PLEASE let it heal first - you give it the right amount of time it will be like new - YOU CAN'T RUSH THIS STUFF. It will come back on you ten fold if you do. So listen to the doctors and we will be waiting for you. Thanks Julie for spending the day in the gym - sizing uniforms - you are doing a great job!! The Steak BBQ was awesome, the best turn out and the best table of prizes ever put on by our club - what a way to start the Season. Managers we are in full tilt now - time to make things happen in the gyms, we have Squirt I Grands and Midget II Qualifiers, Holiday Inn Selects (Kim McDonald - Jades' mom) has helped me get things going for rooms - for these events. We have so many wonderful people do so many things for us. I would like to thank Joe Mayrand for putting together the "Clicker Bats" for us they look great! Mark Lindquist just nailed another $1000.00 sponsor "Food Basics". We are on a Roll! I know there are an incredible amount of people to thank and I tried to cover them all the other night - but I forgot one important group "The Parents" thanks for giving us the opportunity to work with your fantastic kids - I have met almost all of them and they are hard working, intellegent,kind human beings (athletes) and you all should be extremely proud of each and everyone of them (we know the fruit does not fall from the tree)I mean that in the most positive way!!- it is an honour to have them in Windsor Lady Expos' Uniforms. I feel this is going to be a banner year for our Program - Lets' keep this positve energy flowing. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the steak bbq - Paul and Kirk have put alot into it, tonnes of prizes a good time will be had by all. Julie has things rolling in the uniform department - it is anticipated that uniforms for sizing will be available on Sunday Feb 27 - but you will receive a conformation from your Managers. If you want the additional items print out the form available on this site and get it to your manager with a cheque and he or she will ensure Julie gets them.
