We are very interested in hearing from all who have a designated small dog area. Could you please advise the size of the area and what size dogs do you consider "small"? _______________________________ Name: City: cypress What part of town do you live in?: northwest How often do you visti the dog park?: often Sent: 08-Mar-2005 06:03 PM I have a question...are the future parks going to have the lakes? My dog LOVES them but I would like it if they weren;t there. She always gets very dirty Thanks _______________________________ Name: City: Houston What part of town do you live in?: Westbury How often do you visti the dog park?: once a month; more if we can Sent: 19-Jan-2005 04:45 PM Follow-up from conversations with Carolyn Minar in July, 2004: My son--the kid with CP who uses a miniature adult tricycle for mobility at the park--and our (now TWO) dogs LOVE Millie Bush Bark Park!!! ONLY ONE WISH: A PEOPLE potty! It's a LONG drive out there, and I'd love to not have to traipse all the way over to the main park to do MY business! Even some portables would be better than nothing! My (human) colleagues and I who were out there this morning concurred. Any possibility? Otherwise, WE LOVE IT! Thank you so much for making this so FUN for us and the dogs! Now that I met many people there and we talk, I also heard numerous complaints about various things. I'd just like to emphasise: Read and obey the rules....and use common sense! Do not bring an aggressive animal or females in heat, refrain from bringing personal dog toys (dogs are like kids, they don't like to share) and when bringing children, apply the same rules to them: Keep them under control, teach them to behave properly around strange dogs, stop them from running wildly (thereby becoming "bait") and screaming (thereby startling the dogs) and, for god's sake, pick up after your dog, that's what the bags are for. I think everybody would be happy if everybody obeyed the rules equally. Just my 2 cents... _______________________________ Name: City: Houston What part of town do you live in?: Museum District How often do you visti the dog park?: I used to, Twice a day but ..........Alas. Sent: 13-Dec-2004 10:03 PM Love your web page renovation. Looks like you're able to keep it up-to-date easier. The map will be a helpful feature as we keep adding parks (we hope). Speaking of updates, our Bay Area (BARK-9) information needs this correction: We meet the second Sunday quarterly (Feb, May, Aug, Nov) at 2pm, in the Fellowship Hall or the fenced back yard of The House of Prayer Lutheran Church. Thanks for your support HDPA. _______________________________ Number of entries: 97 Create a FREE guestbook! Alxhost Web Hosting - $4.95/month! Remove these links Click for more info! |
