I know you must be receiving thousands of mails from all over the world and this one from me one of them. Right from my school days, I was and am still a great fan of Talatsaheb. Many have said all the qualities of his voice. But believe me, very religeously for the last about 40-45 years ( I am now 64), every night before I go to sleep, I listen to his songs and gazals. I have almost all CDs and cassettes of this great man with me. I come to India every two three months for work and I want to visit you and pay my respect for him. When I was a kid I heard from elders about the greatness of Mahmood sahib's ghazals but when I developed true sense of appreciating ghazals (in my view) , I realised he is far greater and deserve much more praise.
