Gag Reflex was formed in 1993 and in the 12 years since the group has logged in hundreds of performing hours, produced 2 CDs, 13 episodes of an acclaimed internet radio series, released dozens of mp3s to the web and built a fan base. The troupe has started production of a new cable access series with an initial run of 6 episodes which will be distributed all over the Chicago area. The series will begin shooting in April. They are also looking to produce an all new live show in the spring with a possible short tour to follow. Gag Reflex is a sketch comedy group. There is no improv involved. The group writes, rehearses and performs original sketches, songs and musical parodies. They are looking for men and women from 18 to 100. Singing and musical ability is very welcome but not necessary. Audition locations, days and times will be announced soon.
