Sent: 02/25 10:07 PM 77 Lancers is a legacy, and the "77" will always be a part of the name. Besides, District 77 community services has always been and will most likely always be the main support system of the 77 Lancers. Name: A lancer Sent: 02/23 06:02 PM I was just wondering, since it is open enrollment will it stay '77'...? Name: vet piccolo player Sent: 02/22 09:24 PM I am so excited about open enrollment. It will be really fun to meet new people and they will be awesome to play and march with. This is such a great experience for us all. I can't wait for this season to start. Miss all my piccolo girls. Later for now :) Name: Bill in T.C. Sent: 02/21 05:46 AM Hi Everyone! How exciting to think of various Lancer classes starting! It makes the Winter seem shorter just thinking about it! I wish I could join you Sunday for the potluck at DMMS ... meet old friends and greet new ones. Be sure I'll be there in thought!! TC West Sr. High is doing the Elton John version of "Aida" next month, beginning the 10th. I guess I'll be house manager, as I was for Central's "Beauty and the Beast" last November. The house manager makes sure the auditorium is ready, trains ushers, opens the doors when the directors say to, resolves seating disputes and answers about every question you can imagine. West plans 10 paid performances, plus two student matinees, and maybe a couple encore shows if demand warrants. Central had to add two more because people got upset when we sold out - quickest in district history. I plan to visit West after I finish tutoring today. Even though there's no school, six rehearsals are scheduled in the district. Go figure! I've heard your music. You'll have a marvellous show! Best, Bill Name: Homepage: http://www.angelfire.com/sk3/tobedetermined Sent: 02/09 07:52 PM You'll pick up the music kind of instinctively as you play it. It will require practice though. If you have more questions, feel free to email me or my AIM is Itsagooddayt0die . Hope it helps. Sent: 02/08 09:56 PM I'm going to join lancers this year. Is the music you play hard to learn? Name: Sent: 01/04 09:15 PM Matt: Thanks for joining us for dinner at the Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney! I enjoyed meeting you and heard nothing but great things about you and your school from Wade and the other KMHS kids. Have a great rest of your senior year. I'm really impressed by your leadership "credentials" listed on your web site, but I'm not surprised based on your contributions to the BOA Rose Parade Honor Band. Mr. Starnes told me that you simply did everything that your were asked, and then went the extra mile! Have a great future! Name: CS (webmaster) Sent: 01/03 06:55 PM Just a reminder to visitors that if a person has a specific question, you may contact the director or webmaster directly (see above). As for the question on the guard classes, I would guess that information will be going out to the schools very soon. Number of entries: 750 |
