This will be the trek I will do in 10 days from today. It's my second trip with TrekAmerica and I enjoyed my first so much, last year. Wishing you all the best and my best regards from Germany! Hej då, Kathrin Name: City: dover, new hampshire 03820 USA Sent: Fri August 05 2005 17:18 Correction but haven't been able to think straight since I got the word "Cancer" !! BAd word !! I didn't visit Sweden 2005 ... It was September of 2003..We also met an e-mail friend who I had been buying Swedish handcrafted bears from..Eva has a doll & toy museum and we j ust had to meet Eva.. We spent a night with her, a great woman !! We also visited Stockholm and stayed at the Sheraton just walking distance to the residence of your Queen and King..We went to Skansen--loved the bears there etc..Eva was living in Garnas nearer to Copenhagen . We also met with a lovely woman from the Blekinge Museum and a gentleman swede who really did the search and made it possible to meet the cousin on Sturko Island..I sure will go again if all is possible... Maine where i was born is so like the Sturko area if you go to where ex-pres. George Bush senior has his summer home.. I went to your beautiful Sweden in 2005 with my daughter to meet my Swedish relative who lives on the island off of "beautiful Karlskrona called Sturko and we also visited the island Stjurko too as that was the island where my great grandfather worked in the quarry as a stone cutter..My grandfather was also born on Sturko Island as his mother was from that island but his father was born in Karlskrona..I wished I could visit Sweden again but now I am going to be dealing with cancer [lining of my uterus] as of yet I haven't talked with the oncologist so don't know how bad it might be??
