Hi guys, sorry we couldn't make it to the reunion. My youngest daughter had State Tournaments for All-Stars. They won the districts and then went on to take 2nd place at the States. It ended in a 2-1 ballgame. What a long week. Take a look at our website and click on "photos" on the menu on the left. My daughter is a pitcher and has white hair. She has pictures in the Major Special Games Tournament and in the Major Softball All-Stars collection. Just click on the picture and the whole collection will come up. They had a great time but I was bummed about missing the reunion. Will definately be at the 30th. We live in Portage now but have bought some property in Galesburg and will be building a house there. Is anyone else over by there? Email me. Would love to hear from you.

Thanks Sandy for doing such a great job! It was a blast to see everyone and the outside picnic made for a very casual affair. I hope to see more people at the 30th...so many live close and yet we did not get to see their smiling faces. Thanks for the website too...it gives us an opportunity to find classmates and see others in picture. Until next time...Peace

Thanks for organizing the reunion, Sandy. Sorry that I was unable to make it. We had already planned a family vacation for that date, and really couldn't change it. My oldest daughter, Nancy, just graduated from high school and we really wanted to take what may be our last family trip with her. She will be entering Michigan State in the fall to study pre-med. My have two other children--Jacob, 13, and Mary, 11. My husband, Andy, and I live a relatively quiet life here in Sturgis. If anyone is in the area, feel free to stop by! I hope to see everyone at the 30th!

Hello Classmates, What a neat website Sandy put together! Too bad I have been out of touch so long that I was unable to recognize the majority of people, or maybe it's my age? I did however recognize a few, especially those with red hair!! I also noticed, from the reunion pictures, that I am not the only one who still can't kick the habit. It looks like everyone had a great time. All of my family members moved from Michigan many, many, years ago. We are all scattered throughout the US so I travel quite a bit throughout the year to be with them when I can. My husband Tod and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary this month. I have one step daughter, age 11. I have lived in Texas since 1981. I started out in San Antonio then moved to Austin. Thanks to Sandy, I learned that Nancy Harrison-Flores is practically my neighbor & has been for the past 10 years or so. I recently got to see Nancy & met her family. Nancy looks great...the same as she did in school & she has a wonderful family. I would also like to locate Kathy Swinehart to say howdy, if anyone knows here whereabouts. If anyone is interested in e-mailing, my address is now posted.

I had the greatest time and I guess the best complement I can share is this...Sunday, the day after...as hung over as I was...I wished that it was Saturday and we could do it all over again There's so much more I could say but I'll just leave it at that. Thanks so much Sandy for everything that you did!!! It's not just the class of '79 that rocks girl. Randy and I had a fantastic time. Just being there and seeing and being able to talk to people I hadn't seen in years (and for some it was 25 years) was the coolest experience. By the way, many of you had me laughing my tooshy off. Way too much fun!!! Those of you that missed it missed out. Too bad we can't do this more often!!!

Hello fellow 1979 Classmates. I just learned about the reunion the second week of July and was directed to the wetsands.com web site for more info. What a great surprise to learn about my classmates, their families, careers and where they are residing. I'm still in the newspaper business. My wife, Crystal and I own and publish a small weekly newspaper in the big city of Climax. Lots of fun and work. I look forward to seeing all of you and hope all is well. We had a great class I'm proud of. Thank you Sandy for putting this function together.

Hey everyone! Where has 25 years gone? I remember when my parents were planning their 25th class reunion and they seemed so old! I suppose my daughters are thinking the same thing. I don't feel old, that must count for something. Anyway, the last few months have been a blur with Kate playing JV softball and Anna playing soccer and little league, Steve coaching and me trying to keep the little league concession stand stocked and staffed. We just watched out last softball game 3 nights ago and we closed down the concession for the last time 2 nights ago. Softball party tonight and I decided I should check into this website for the first time! I think of everyone often and think the picnic is a great idea. Sandy, thanks for putting the reunion together, you go girl! Oh, I have one question - are we going to have name tags?!?!?

Hello everyone! Thanks Sandy for tracking us down. Don't know if we will make it on Saturday or not, but it would be great to see the class of '79. I would love to hear from any of you sometime. Put me on the "found" list, I hope to stay there!
