I am putting together a family tree and know that my Grandmother was born in Gladstone Street, Northallerton and then came as a small child I believe to live in York as her father worked on the railway. Just wondering how much to town has changed. I remember the town in the 60's, 70,s 80,s I left to work in Canada in the early 90's. I went to both the Allertonshire school and Grammer school.
