what a pity your walks are only on saturdays, would be nice to change some to sundays. Great web site.

Hi, my husband and I did the C2C a couple of years ago and loved it but missed some of the views due to bad weather. I am trying to find Wainwright's Coast to Coast, a Pictorial Guide with Derry Brabs. Thanks

My wife and I spent a week in Lakeland in 1989 and loved it. I am now thinking about the c2c but don't know if I can afford it. Still, just thinking and reading about it is exciting!

I picked up a copy of Smithsonian Magazine,Sept. 2003, because of the cover article and the Killer Lakes article and did not read it for several months. When I did, I was so surprised to find my interests of scenic views, hiking, and history to be connected with genealogy at the same time! I have hiked many areas of the US and plan to do UK and Europe.

Just saw the September issue of Smithsonian Magazine. I got all excited about the possibility of a "nice walk" through northern England. Wow.
