Hey guys, i just felt prompted to come on here and give you some encouragement,my name is Jez,im from B'mouth but have been part of the stoke on trent plant since last last september,and ive been part of New Frontiers for most of my life.I just wanna completely encourage you guys,just in case you were unaware of the impact you have on people like me,especially you louise,as the sort of front person i have grown up watching you worship and its been a real help and encouragement to me,to see your passion and your realism and your love for Jesus,its people like you that encourage us to get intimate with Jesus in a much deeper sense.I was at the does the future have a church thing in Nottingham the other day and you guys were there and i was just so blessed and encouraged.Things always seem to change i find with people coming and goin and Christian bands flittering,but its so awesome to see a band stick with it and get deep into what they feel God wants them to do!and to do what they can to encourage other people into worship. Anyways could i ask you guys to pray for us? me and my mate Sam Henson are leading our cell group at church and we are holding a worship event, where are worship band are just gonna drag our non-christian and christian mates along for an evening of worship and testimony. The event is called 'the deluge' and we are so keen for it to be much more than a gig. Its easy to focus so much on making sure it all sounds good and tight and musically brill, but obviously, without Gods presence its like a light bulb without electricty, we are hoping to make this event a regular thing where we really stir up the youth of stoke for bigger things, this place was voted the worst place to live in the UK a lil while back, and we were told as a church plant that we wouldnt get past 50 in 5 years, we have already done that in a year. But we believe there is so much more to happen. Neways if we knew you guys were behind us in prayer, even if you could find the time for a quick mention, that would be a real support. Anyway guys i dunno really why i came here and left this messgae, ive never done this whole message board thing, but hope you guys are encouraged, thanks a lot!

Thanks for the gig at Brighton. The Youth Group I bought with me thought Phatfish were fantastic. I'm the only drummer at my church, and even before I liked Phatfish people said I drummed like Nathan (not as well obviously). I now listen to them a lot and try to make my playing more like Nathan's because it is so good! What kit/cymbals does he use? I especially like the sound of the splash cymbal used in the Heavenbound and would like to know what it is!
