Would like to see more people on here from the mid to late 70’s. Been in Rochester, NY since about 1981. Worked for Eastman Kodak (Engineer) for about 9 years, then as partner in a sales and marketing agency for about 11 years, then 4 years ago decided to make one more change and now run a manufacturing company involved in the optical industry. Married 23 yrs? ( I guess I better remember that one!) to a Rochester girl. Two kids, daughter 19 and a son 17. Don’t get back to St. C. as much as we used to. Still make Home Pizza one of the first stops! Not sure what happened to our 25th reunion? We had one every 5 years since graduation, but not a 25th? I hope we have a 30th, would like to see everyone again. Go Devils! For a fee of $5.00 you can join for one year and receive 4 newsletters "The Scan" that is put out by me the Editor in the months of Feb.-May-Aug.and Nov.. We have an annual picnic on the last Saturday of July which is held at the J.B. Martin center on the fairgrounds. We honor an outstanding Alumnus every year at the picnic. At the present time we are maing out 1172 mailings of the newsletter. We have about 1270 members now. (Do copyrights run out like patents?) I breezed thru St. C. last June enroute to a Hastings reunion in Delaware after attending Muskingum 65th in New Concord. Only one first cousin still living in area, but anyone named (or related to) Giffen, Pickenpaugh, or Merritt is a cousin. J. B. Merritt, a couple of years behind me at St.C., is in Clearwater, FL, probably bracing for Ivan right now. Since I sent my first message in 2001, my email address has changed. In that message I mentioned that I had had brain cancer twice. In April 2002, my book, "Last Trip to Baker 5 -- Beating Brain Cancer Twice" was published. Presently, I am in the process of searching for an agent to connect me with a traditional publisher to re-publish and reap the benefits of sharing my story with a wider audience. On 5/20/04, I became a first-time grandmother. My two sons live in New York and the Boston area. I don't read music, but I sing in my church choir here in CA. I was at the 1961 class reunion in 1981. As far as I know there have been none since then. I would like to attend the class picnic, but out-of-towners need more information on logistics to make proper arrangements. I have been divorced over 28 years (wow!), and would love to correspond with other classmates in this position of living alone. FYI: My very first date was with John Jablonski(deceased) to the Mistletoe Ball, when I was 14 years old, a sophomore. We doubled with Connie Kusic and Bud Jones. I am a television director at the Ohio News Network (ONN to some) in Columbus. Been there 4+ years.
