Ballroom workshop no. 2 - brilliant! This was a perfect follow up to our first workshop, all the steps just 'fell into place' this time and getting round those corners - no problem! Well done yet again to Jean (and her partner Gill) for her excellent teaching and to Colin & Janneke for organising it. Bye for now got to go, just off to a tea dance ......!

Thankyou very much to Colin and Janneke for a fantastic trip to the Jitterbug Ball on Saturday night (my personal best one yet). Also thanks to everyone from Brighton Jive that attended for adding to the fantastic atmosphere in a way that only Brighton Jivers seem able to do! See you all soon.

Well Marilyn, ZIP-A-DE-DOO-DA-ZIP-A-DE-DAY, my oh my what a wonderful......time I also had at the Jitterbug Ball on Saturday evening!!! Memorable moments...... handy needlework (you know what I mean Marilyn & Carly!) and managing to keep my little friend whom I met last year at the same place, in an upright position (just to clarify, that is in a dancing position)!! The Opus One Band were absolutely superb as was the whole atmosphere from the beginning of the trip by coach, to the dancing, the fabulous clothes people wore, the sing-a-long (my favourite bit!) and the journey back home munching through those lovely chochy snacks (except for Bob who had a healthy salad one!). Thanks Colin and Janneke, roll on next year …… Pam

SUPERCALLYFRAGGIELISTICXPALLIDOCIOUS!!!!!!!!!!! Whether i am the first or the last, I want to say that the 2005 Jitterbug Ball was the Ball to end them all! The Bands, the dj, all came together to make for one of the finest piece of jive entertainment I have ever attended. Colin and Janneke, THANK YOU SO MUCH for organising such a fantastic trip. You both work so hard to make it so easy for us. The coach trip, the whole atmosphere is truly a credit to you. See you all very soon.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the Ballroom workshop on Saturday. Wow, what a lot of people, does this mean we can expect some tea dances soon?!! Jean was a brilliant teacher, very clear with her instructions and together with her star pupil (Janneke – well done!), they made it look so easy ….. got on very well with picking up the steps (didn't we Colin!) until we hit Picadilly Circus (never was very good at negotiating heavy traffic, sorry to everyone we bumped into!) and yikes, those corners need some serious manoeuvring tactics…..! Photos look great, now I know where the dent in my back came from! See you all soon.

Thanks for a great night at Saltdean Lido. Once they gathered momentum, the Earl Jackson Band were really good. Thanks again Colin for playing our requests.
See you soon.
